    Pros +

    • Close to restaurants, coffee, and fun things to do. Great pour-over coffee available in the room, better than coffee maker coffee. Great views if you¿re on the river view side.
    • The lounge in the second floor has free coffee. The staff are very helpful and kind
    • Disappointing!!!!

    Cons -

    • No restaurant in hotel while I visited, no room service or breakfast options. Rooms are pretty small. Kinda hard to get to if you¿re taking Uber or a taxi
    • The shower area is separate with the toilet
    • I booked room high flour with city view, got a very small and poor room with back view to a close building few meter from us. Under the hotel many garages and tier sellers….The payment did not include breakfast and the value for money was poor….!!!!

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I received during my two-night stay at Suz & Catorze from December 14th to 16th, 2024, booked through Booking.com.Firstly, I was surprised to find that my pre-authorization hold was placed on December 10th, which seems excessively early given Booking.com’s policy allows for cancellation up to 24 hours prior to check-in.Upon my arrival around noon, I encountered unprofessional service from staff member Eunice, who informed me that my room was not ready, despite seeing other guests check in before me. I was disappointed that she offered no alternatives, and instead directed me to change in a restroom of a second room.Shortly after, a manager named Weber informed me that my room was ready, but I was confused as to why it had suddenly become available. He mentioned that the hotel was at 90% occupancy and suggested that previous guests, being members, took precedence over my booking. As a fellow member, I felt undervalued when he referred to me as merely a "standard member."On the second day, I faced additional issues when I discovered water flooding in the bathroom, creating a hazardous environment. This is unacceptable and poses a serious safety risk. As a single woman traveler, it increases the chances of accidents without anyone knowing. Moreover, there were no signs indicating that the floor would flood after showering.Furthermore, the room I received did not match the description on Booking.com; it was smaller and had a different layout. Despite Eunice insisting that this was the room I booked, a housekeeper informed me that only two rooms on the second floor are like that. The second floor lacks security access, allowing anyone to enter, which is particularly concerning for a single female traveler.Although Eunice eventually assisted in changing my room, my overall experience had already been tarnished.

    Left after one night.

Location: too much traffic, noise and dirt. breakfast: not offering enough choices. room choices: one faces other buildings and one faces noisy highway.

Good location, excellent staff, room was big enough with usual amenities.

Very expensive, gym was very small.

Excellent room and customer service. I love the corner room studio with river view. I will stay here again if I come back to Taipei.

Good views of the river and highway bridge. Breakfast was good. Customer service officers were friendly and very helpful.

Automated bidet toilet wasnt working properly. They tested many times but werent working when seated. Ultimately what solved this issue was when they replaced the batteries to the remote control. What a gigantic waste of time troubleshooting for nothing. The officers should test and replace the batteries on time before guests come in and shouldnt expect guests to know what is wrong with their automated bidet system. Shower system was loose and cant be fixed properly. The workaround was to push the shower head behind the stem of the shower system to hold it in place. Toilet floor tiles are very slippery and dangerous.

Location is super ideal, very close to shopping and opposite to river walk

The public facility of the hotel was a little small

    9KylePosted on: 11-21-2023

The location was a bit out of the way in terms of getting to transport hubs however the place itself was clean and spotless. The staff were very friendly and would always greet us with a smile.

Location is 10min away from Ximen MRT. It’s easy to get around Taipei. After arriving from Taoyuan airport, i took the express train to Taipei Main Station and then an Uber to the hotel. Costs around 110 TWD for the Uber. Bed was really comfortable and room is clean. Toilet has a heated seat and it comes with a bath tub. Nice experience. Staff are friendly - they loaned us 2 adaptors. Free coffee available on the second floor iirc. Unfortunately we were not able to try their hotel breakfast as the restaurant is closed for renovation.

Gym is very small - what you see in the picture is the entire gym. No weights.

    Comfort bed helpful staffs

the housekeeping empty cans of our beer not being cleared light dim

The bed was good. Reasonable amenities.

I expected more in terms of room size. Was very small. TV kept turning on at random times. When I checked in, they told me they serve breakfast every day. Yet when I went to the breakfast room, there was no breakfast Why? Because someone didn't come to work. Ummmm, ok? 4 star hotel? Definitely not with that kind of service

Location is far from train station

    Lousy river view

The room is nice though small. Though the river view room description should be changed to highway view. You can hear the sounds of the cars passing by. Very small lobby with just 1 sofa and a couple of chairs.

The fact that there is a really great parking garage is amazing. The beds are really comfortable and the bathroom is luxurious. staff is really friendly. it’s only a short walk (3 minutes) to the walking street of Ximen

    10LimPosted on: 5-12-2023

The view towards the river and highways are amazing, especially during sunset and sunrise. Plus point is that even though there is ongoing traffics nearby, the windows are completely soundproof.

    Nothing!

    8MarianPosted on: 5-8-2023

Place is quiet, reception staff very friendly and helpful.

Please include some towel hangers/hooks in the bath so guests may have somewhere to hang their used towels. We ended up some put it on the side of the bath/back of the chair.

    8LenaPosted on: 5-6-2023

Stunning view, very comfy beds, big smart TV, well located.

Polite but distant and not very welcoming staff. On day 2 there was a dead cockroach in the hallway that wasn't removed the next day.
